Stop Deportation Now! By Brooklyn Immigration Attorney

My name is George M. Gilmer, Esq. I am a Brooklyn Immigration Lawyer. I have a good amount of experience in Deportation cases. Very recently I won a Cancellation of Removal Case on behalf of my client. Cancellation of removal for permanent residents, (previously known as 212(c) relief), is available to an alien who is inadmissible or deportable from the United States if the alien: (1) has been an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence for not less than five years, (2) has resided in the United States continuously for seven years after having been admitted in any status, and (3) has not been convicted of any aggravated felony. My client was convicted of various criminal offenses and faced deportation. Although a difficult case to win, my office aggressively represented the client, brought in great witnesses to testify to my client's moral character, and at the end of the hearing the courtroom was nearly brought to tears over my client's case and he was granted cancellation of removal!
